Ms Christianson, who was previously serving as REA’s Digital Strategist, brings decades of experience in residential real estate and digital strategy to her new role.

“We’re doubling down on service, committed to helping you get bigger, better results,” Ms Christianson said.

“This new structure is about creating better employee experiences so that we can create better customer experiences.

“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, and I’m feeling good.”

The strategic move is part of REA Group’s broader initiative to scale up its Specialist Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Training divisions.

The appointment comes as REA Group restructures its service model in response to customer feedback, with nearly 60 per cent of customers requesting more proactive support and training.

REIQ Chairman Peter Brewer reflected on Ms Christianson’s journey, recalling a conversation in San Francisco a decade ago about her prospects in Australia.

“Today, after 8 years as a highly respected national speaker to audiences of up to several thousand people for REA Group, I couldn’t be prouder of her incredible perseverance and dedication,” Mr Brewer said.

“She has given her absolute all to her career and today’s announcement is testimony to her skills and determination.”

Ms Christianson’s expertise includes technology trends, online content and digital strategies, with a particular focus on enhancing online profiles and digital strategy implementation.

“What we’re seeing is a fundamental shift in how we approach customer support,” Mr Brewer said.

“She still talks kinda funny ‘y’all’, but I know her audiences take her knowledge and wisdom very seriously.”
