SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Welcome to the fifth annual Notre Dame fan survey, a tradition at The Athletic born from of a time when we weren’t sure we’d have football to talk about that coming fall in 2020. And thank Touchdown Jesus we’ll have so much to discuss this season as the College Football Playoff expands at the exact moment Notre Dame appears built to not only make the new postseason, but do some damage once it does.
Some of this year’s questions follow the pattern of the past, taking your temperature on Marcus Freeman, Notre Dame football, recruiting, NIL and the never-ending question of joining a conference. I also want you, dear subscriber, to dream a little bit with our final question. Let’s speak into existence what Notre Dame winning a national championship would feel like and how you’d celebrate it.
