The story of Kamala Harris’ mocking words after two students in the audience at her rally said “Jesus is Lord” and “Christ is King” has gone viral on X this weekend.

However, some media reports didn’t report what the students actually said, and some claimed that she was responding to people shouting “lies.” But if you listen to the video that conservative activist Scott Presler posted, you can clearly hear what the two students said and then the Kamala supporters saying, “Bye!” as they walked out/were escorted out. No one appears to say “lies.”

She said, waving as the students left, “Oh, I think you guys are at the wrong rally. I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street,” apparently trying to take a shot at President Donald Trump, who was not holding a rally down the street and who routinely holds much larger rallies than she does.

Now the students, Luke Polaske and Grant Beth, appeared on Fox News and explained what happened.

Luke confirmed that, in his opinion, she was talking to them. First, he said that abortion was a sacrament of Satan. Then, the video covers what they said next. Luke said he knew she was talking to him because she “looked him directly in the eye, kinda gave him an evil smirk,” then waved to him as he held up his cross before saying, go to the smaller rally down the street. He also explained that Kamala supporters were shouting at them and shoved Grant, so they were leaving, but they were also kicked out. One of the people who had badges told them, “You are uninvited and unwelcome to this event. You need to leave.”

This was at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. Luke made a point of saying it was a small venue and there were only about 2,500 people. “So when she told us to go to the smaller rally down the street, I didn’t really think for a political rally, there could be a smaller rally,” he quipped.

Grant said it was only about making a point about their faith, not about Trump. He said he was pushed, which you can see on the video. They were cursed at, heckled, and mocked, he added. Grant explained it was important for young people like themselves to understand, “This is what you’re going to get with a Kamala Harris presidency. You’re going to get the Kamala Harris that alienates over 50 percent of the U.S. population which is Christian. You’re going to get the Kamala Harris who skips the Al Smith memorial dinner which no major candidate has skipped since Walter Mondale [Democrat] in 1984.” He said it just proved what kind of person she is, and what kind of leader she would be.

“The future of the country is at stake,” Grant said, listing other problems with Harris, including high prices for groceries and the difficulty in buying a home.

The response to these students was in sharp contrast to how she responded to a Gaza protester who interrupted her earlier in the day at another event in Wisconsin.

She said what this guy had to say was “real,” and she “respects his voice.”

Quite a difference from her response to Luke and Grant saying, “Jesus is Lord.” She was deservedly blasted all over X for it:
