ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating the murder of a man in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors.
Police say it happened in the 1200 block of Laire Drive around 8:40 p.m. Friday, January 3.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man suffering from apparent gunshot injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for life saving treatment but died from his injuries.
A person of interest is in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
