We saw “Saturday Night Live” do something pretty sketchy, putting Kamala Harris on the last Saturday before the election. That’s a big problem because they didn’t make an offer to President Donald Trump, which angered FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr.

On top of that, the two-minute skit Kamala Harris was not only unfunny, but it was a rip-off of an old Trump skit on SNL. They used almost the exact same words about Kamala’s cackle that they trotted out about Hillary’s cringey laughs in 2008.

But it didn’t end up helping Hillary, who lost to Obama in the primaries in 2008. She also lost to Trump in 2016, despite appearing on SNL shortly before the election. So it didn’t help Hillary Clinton and Kamala is likely to follow in her footsteps.

While the Kamala skit wasn’t funny, they also had a gag with Sen. Tim Kaine that was actually pretty humorous about how leftists can’t remember the names of these people that they think are so important to vote for to “save democracy.” But, of course, they had to slip in a mention about Special Counsel Jack Smith to remind people of the prosecution against Trump.

The leftist argues Tim Walz is somehow more memorable. Then SNL shows Kaine and Walz look almost exactly the same.

Kaine says he still exists; he’s a senator representing Virginia.

Now, does the leftist remember the names he tweeted about during the BLM riots who were allegedly victims of police brutality? That of course shows how empty his tweet was. He talks about how things are becoming “The Handmaid’s Tale” and then finds out the author is the woman standing next to him.

Who remembers Tim Kaine, honestly, and has he done anything memorable since?

It also tells you exactly how long anyone will give a darn about Tim Walz after he and Kamala lose.

But there was a potential problem with Kaine’s appearance as well. Did they invite Hung Cao, who is in a tight battle for the Senate in Virginia?

Journalist Michael Shellenberger called this out as another problem for NBC for boosting Tim Kaine.

Hung Cao has now responded to the question as well, and his answer was great. He said he probably wouldn’t pursue the question because he thought this helped make the case against Kaine. Cao said he was campaigning with the people of Virginia while Kaine was being a “human punch line” in New York City with the elites.

Cao said he thanked NBC and Tim Kaine for making the contrast so clear. That’s a great response, although I do think he should also pursue the question.

Wouldn’t that be some kind of karma after all that — just like with Hillary Clinton — both Harris and Tim Kaine were to lose after this SNL gambit?

Schadenfreude.
