A 17-year-old student from Bonnabel High School in Kenner, Louisiana, has been arrested and faces numerous sex crime charges for molesting multiple children as young as 4 years of age.

Kenner Police announced the arrest of Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro on Tuesday, one day after receiving an anonymous tip.

Captain Michael Cunningham reported that the anonymous call was “in reference to a Hispanic male who was sexually molesting children in a trailer park” located in the city.

Cunningham indicates that Bonilla-Alfaro was accused by residents of having sexually assaulted a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old boy.

“Both juveniles identified Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro … as touching them inappropriately and having the juveniles perform sex acts on him,” he said.

Under questioning, police allege that the teenager admitted to the crimes and confessed to recording them on his phone. Authorities later discovered he was in the country illegally.

Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley identified him as having come from Honduras.

“Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro has been charged with First Degree Rape, two counts of Sexual Battery, two counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles, and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles,” Cunningham added.

The story gets worse. After seizing Bonilla-Alfaro’s cellphone, authorities found a third young victim also recorded being forced into depraved acts.

A follow-up report from WDSU 6 News in New Orleans indicates two more victims would eventually come forward — the previously unidentified boy seen in the cell phone footage and another child. These two new victims are 8 and 13 years old.

Bonilla-Alfaro will face additional charges based on the other victims coming forward. He is reportedly in ICE custody, though it is unclear when and where he entered the country illegally.

This isn’t the first time this trailer park has run into a problem with an illegal alien committing sexual assault on a minor.

This past September, Diego Rodriguez-Salvador was arrested for kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl in the same location. Salvador, a friend of the victim’s brother, offered to drive the girl to the store but instead went in a different direction, pulled a knife out, and raped her, according to WDSU.

The school district in which Bonilla-Alfaro was a student issued a statement specifically citing the fact that schools are forced to take in students “regardless of race, color, national origin, citizenship, or immigration status, or their parents’ or guardians’ immigration status.”

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill (R) addressed these horrific crimes on X.

“Illegal immigration threatens everyone in our community. Secure the border!” she wrote. “Prayers for the victims in this case.”

Murrill recently joined 15 other state Attorneys General in filing a lawsuit against the Biden administration, which seeks to halt the implementation of a policy that expands amnesty for illegal aliens residing in the United States.

Murrill also joined Lousiana’s Governor, Jeff Landry (R), in suing DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the case of an illegal immigrant from China, who was discovered to be carrying a rare, drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis.

This story regarding Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro is developing. RedState will be sure to keep you abreast of any updates as they become public.
