NBC’s “Late Night” host Seth Meyers and disgraced former NBC “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams.

Now, there’s a pair. After their ridiculous Wednesday night analysis of why President-elect Donald Trump thrashed Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, these two guys could be twin hood ornaments on the left’s election-meltdown clown car — at least for a day.

As has been the case with many in the media, on nightly talk shows, and of course on ABC’s cartoon show “The View,” it was hilarious to watch these smug loons “seriously” dissect the election and the cause of its outcome as if they were objective analysts.

So the reason Tump won, according to Meyers and Williams? One word: nihilism.

As defined by Merriam-Webster, nihilism is “a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless; a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth and especially of moral truths.”

Not to nitpick right off the bat, but “a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded” and “a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth and especially of moral truths” are perfect descriptors of the radical left and today’s Democrat Party — not to mention today’s left-wing media.

Williams suggested to Meyers that the Democrat Party has become “the fancy party.” I have no idea what he meant, but Meyers immediately took a further delusional step.

But it’s so strange, because, of course, you know, they do still, you know, they do still win a bigger share … of, like, the non-white working class. So, they are speaking to someone.

Again, not to nitpick, but unionists and blue-collar workers abandoned the Democrat Party in droves in this election, including in multiple down-ballot races. But, hey — why let facts get in the way of a left-winger’s argument?

But please, Seth, tell us more.

I mean, I understand that it’s getting eaten into, but I — you know at the same time, like, we’re talking about it like — you know, and again, I agree they have to communicate better to the working class voter. But I sometimes think it’s a little unfair to say, you know, they’re elite, when they — certainly Joe Biden stood up for unions.

Again, please. How exactly did Joe Biden stand up for unions? With the same pro-union jargon that Democrats trot out during every election campaign?

Question, Seth: How well did Biden stand up for union workers at the gas pump? At the grocery store? The reality is that the 2024 general election likely marked the beginning of a historic shift away from Democrat candidates and toward Republicans.

Meyers predictably took a shot at Trump and Elon Musk, suggesting that neither will stand up for union workers, which was laugh-out-loud hilarious, given Trump’s win in Pennsylvania, which included record numbers of blue-collar votes.

And, you know — and I think it’s very fair to say that Donald Trump, and certainly Elon Musk, will not. And there was a time where that meant something. And I don’t quite know why it doesn’t anymore.

I know what it was, Seth — as do tens of millions of Americans. Hard-working people have increasingly gotten fed up with the Democrat Party’s hollow promises; the same reason voters of color backed Trump over Harris in record numbers.

Williams, ever the faux intellectual, then trotted a “big word” to describe why Trump won (emphasis, mine).

To use a big word, there is a nihilism afoot, and it has been since the first Trump term. Let’s — you know, “It’s not working for me, let’s burn the damn thing down.” And that’s kind of a germ that’s going around the world, it’s not limited to us. So, these are gonna be — strap in, these are gonna be interesting times.

Total hilarity. The “nihilism afoot” of which Williams speaks exists in Democrat Party elites, the no-longer-hallowed halls of academia, and with the radical left.

Meyers was all too eager to agree with Williams.

I do think you’re right about the nihilism. I think it’s really tough to communicate a message when that is the pervasive feeling. But I think it’s the job of Democrats, if they really want to get through, it’s gonna be harder than they maybe put the effort in this time.

Wrong again, Seth. Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, the entire Democrat Party, and the left-wing media did their best to conceal the true message of the party and its policies.

If Democrats were truly honest about their policies and goals, they’d never win a presidential election again; 2024 proved it. Bigly.
