As RedState previously reported, disturbing scenes unfolded on a sunny Sunday in Los Angeles, where pro-Hamas agitators showed up to surround and harass worshippers at the Adas Torah synagogue while calling for a bloody intifada.

Chants of “Free Palestine” filled the air.

As we also reported, things escalated quickly as the worshippers attempted to defend themselves, each other, and the synagogue, “with eggs, pepper spray, and fists being thrown. Some people and journalists were thrown to the ground and kicked, while others were bludgeoned.”

In particularly eye-opening video clips shared by the Los Angeles Scanner Twitter/X account, some pro-Hamas protesters even brought their infant child to the scene, complete with a keffiyeh, in a true parent-of-the-year moment:

Predictably, there were belated condemnations of what happened from Democrat “leaders” in California, including Gov. Gavin Newsom, who failed to demand the agitators be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Similarly, Joe Biden’s response – issued the next day from his Twitter/X account and not via a pre-recorded video statement, did not call for prosecutions. He merely said he was “appalled,” called their actions “antisemitic,” and declared that it shouldn’t have happened:

I’m appalled by the scenes outside of Adas Torah synagogue in Los Angeles. Intimidating Jewish congregants is dangerous, unconscionable, antisemitic, and un-American.

Americans have a right to peaceful protest. But blocking access to a house of worship – and engaging in violence – is never acceptable.

Biden’s tepid response to the violent incident that was provoked and stoked by an antisemitic mob drew sharp rebukes from Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Tom Cotton (R-AR), the latter of whom alluded to the two-tier system of justice in America:

Biden’s statement follows a disturbing pattern coming from him, his administration, and his reelection campaign in the aftermath of violent demonstrations put on by pro-Hamas protesters in recent months.

For instance, Biden campaign senior spokeswoman Adrienne Elrod said during an MSNBC interview that the antisemitic mob that ran the Capitol police and the Secret Service out of Lafayette Square, set off smoke bombs, and assaulted a Park Ranger earlier this month were merely “exercising their right” to “freedom of expression.”

Similarly, we also learned around the same time that the DC police and Secret Service had made “no arrests” that day.

These are all points Trump needs to hammer home in his debate with Biden on Thursday. Why the rush to drop the hammer on concerned parents and conservative demonstrators but not far-left ones who wreak havoc on society on a near-daily basis? I think the answer is clear; it’s on Trump to draw it out of Biden.
