Scott and Joel Boniwell’s Burleigh Heads-based agency is joining the Harcourts network in a bid to add even more value to the local community

The Announcement:

Scott and Joel Boniwell are joining Harcourts Property Hub in Burleigh Heads after 30 years of operating independently.

Scott Boniwell established the office in 1992 with Greg Dillon. Scott’s son Joel Boniwell later joined as a Principal, making it a true family business.

“We are delighted that the original owners will be staying on under the Harcourts Property Hub brand,” Harcourts Property Hub Director Ray Pienaar said.

“Burleigh is a very localised community who like to support their own local businesses and people.

“We are excited to be a part of the Burleigh Waters/ Burleigh Heads community and will strive to deliver a world class service as well as be a business and team who will continue the 30-year legacy of giving back to the people and the community.”

Burleigh Heads is one of the most sought-after suburbs on the Gold Coast, ranking in the top ten searched suburbs for both sales and rentals.

Mr Pienaar noted the extensive local knowledge of the sales agents, who have both lived and worked in the area.

Harcourts Property Hub Director Dave Manby said: “This acquisition solidifies our position as a key player in the beachside market and what better way to do it than with a well-respected team that operates both in the residential and commercial space.”

Joel Boniwell explained the decision to partner with Harcourts Property Hub.

“For us to agree to partner with Harcourts Property Hub to work as Harcourts Burleigh was something we don’t take lightly at all after 32 years!” Joel Boniwell said.

“However, we truly believe we share a common goal and genuine understanding and belief in what Dave, Ray and Chris envision to provide to our community; and this has us very excited to move forward to this partnership and a bright future ahead in blue!”

Harcourts Queensland CEO Greg Allan said he was excited by the move.

“We’re thrilled that Harcourts Property Hub has gone from strength to strength in the short time they have been with Harcourts,” Mr Allan said.

“That they are able to support the continuation of the long-time local successes of a team of highly experienced professionals who understand their local real estate market, while utilising the global reach of the Harcourts brand, shows that here at Harcourts, we make it possible.”
