On this episode of “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”…
Former President Barack Obama, whose Democrat star precipitously faded during and after the 2024 presidential election (more on that later), had the audacity to declare in a speech at the third annual Obama Foundation Democracy Forum in Chicago that over the next four years, “one side” is going to “stack the deck” in an effort to do all kinds of unconscionable things. No, really.
Does that scenario ring a bell about the last four years?
Obama’s assertion was so ironically absurd that even he had trouble spitting it out (emphasis, mine).
There are going to be times, potentially, when one side tries to stack the deck and lock in a [long pause] permanent grip on power—either by actively suppressing votes, or politicizing the armed forces, or using the judiciary and the criminal justice system to go after opponents.
In those circumstances, pluralism does not call for us to just stand back and say, ‘Well, I’m not sure that’s okay.’
In those circumstances, a line has been crossed, and we have to stand firm.
“Pluralism.” From the guy who, for eight years, tried to divide America along race and class lines, no less.
NEW: Obama says Republicans are the ones who rig elections and weaponize the justice system while speaking at a “Democracy Forum.”
The comment was so outrageous that Obama could barely get the words out of his mouth.

We don’t even have to revisit the 2020 presidential election and its results to dig deep into the hypocrisy of Obama’s ridiculous hypocrisy.
Just over the last four years, the Democrats’ blatant attempts to employ lawfare against former President Donald Trump in an attempt to destroy his chances of winning the 2024 presidential election and lame-duck President Joe Biden’s full and unconditional pardon of his son Hunter Biden — which set off a firestorm across the country, including among more than a few Democrat politicians — clearly demonstrate that ever-holier-than-thou Obama was barking up the wrong political tree in his delusional speech.

In what can only be described as a masterclass in projection, Barack Obama took the stage at a so-called “Democracy Forum” to pontificate on the sanctity of democratic principles, only to skew the narrative by accusing Republicans of rigging elections and weaponizing the justice system.
His words, “One side tries to stack the deck and lock in a permanent grip on power, either by actively suppressing votes or politicizing the armed forces or using the judiciary criminal justice system to go after opponents,” were so rich with irony that they seemed to stick in his throat.
Amen. And then some.

The best (worst) part about Barack Obama is his complete lack of self-awareness.
A Word About That Precipitously Fading Star
One of the left’s many targets in its blame game of why Harris lost the election was Obama, not only for “pushing Biden out” of the campaign, but also for his ill-advised scolding of black men for not sufficiently supporting the vice president.
Hence, the question began to be openly asked: Has the crowned prince’s crown finally tarnished? Are his days as grand potentate of the Democrat Party over?
I couldn’t care less, one way or the other, but it will be fascinating to watch.
