The Real Housewives of Orange County stars Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen are taking their real estate careers to new heights.
The couple confirmed to Us Weekly that they have decided to switch brokerages and launch their own real estate team called The Gated Group, powered by eXp Realty.
“We know we are good at this job, we know our clients are well taken care of, and we know we are a solid team together,” Gina, 40, exclusively told Us when celebrating the news. “I am definitely most excited that we are starting our own real estate team this year because I know we are going to crush it in 2025!”
While some couples may stay away from working together professionally, both Gina and Travis, 40, say it has brought them closer together in recent years.
“I certainly understand that every relationship is different, but I think that Gina and I genuinely enjoy spending time with each other,” Travis told Us. “Doing real estate together allows us to maximize our time together, which is great. I also believe it has strengthened our relationship because on every transaction, there are obstacles that come up and we continue to learn how to overcome obstacles together. From that perspective, it is a win.”
While Gina said her role is more “client facing,” she praised her boyfriend and business partner as being the “brain and the heart of our brand.”
“He is an incredible natural problem solver and he handles all the curve balls, which are inevitable in real estate,” she said. “Together, we’re the full package.”
Travis added, “Gina is a genuine people person. She has a knack for interior design and notices all the important details within the homes. She also loves shopping, which is basically what the home search process is. … Personally, I enjoy putting the puzzle pieces together in order to help our clients secure the home that they fall in love with.”
As Americans move past the height of the coronavirus pandemic and the election, Gina is excited for the market to continue to settle and is hopeful rates will continue to come down allowing more people to be able to afford homes.
“When they are ready, we will be here for them,” she said. “Let’s go!”
Fans met Gina when she first appeared on season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2018 with her three kids Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna.
Since then, viewers have watched Gina fall in love with Travis, who also has three kids. Together, they have defied expectations as they grow their real estate business.
“I tell Gina all the time that she reminds me of the words from Taylor Swift‘s song ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,’” Travis said with a laugh. “Not from the standpoint of a breakup, but because things are not always perfect or how we would like — super busy with six kids, other jobs, two dogs, intense social life, etc. — but we need to get our work done. Gina always shows up and crushes it.”
Not to be outdone, Gina knows all too well that Travis deserves plenty of credit too.
“Travis is the guy you want in your corner, period,” she said. “I feel lucky and blessed that I get to live my life with him in mine.”
