“The team at Cirrus8 and RealTrust (“C8 Group”) have built a fantastic business servicing the commercial real estate property management market in Australia and New Zealand,” Davin Miller, CEO of Rex Software said.

We look forward to offering C8 Group customers a tailored Rex commercial real estate sales CRM, as well as fully customisable websites and targeted social media marketing solutions.

“These solutions have been quickly adopted by residential agents and our research indicates that there is strong demand from commercial agents looking to grow their footprint and better collaborate with existing customers.”

Steven Carulli and Raymond Bechard, founders of Cirrus8 and RealTrust, are equally excited about the next growth phase of the companies they founded more than 8 years ago.

“We have already established ourselves as the leading commercial property management software and solutions provider in ANZ,” Mr Carulli said.

“The combination with Rex will provide us with the capacity to further invest in the ANZ market as well as continue to expand globally into the UK.

“A key attraction of the combination was the fact the team at Rex are backed by institutional capital in Potentia and have already done a great job in gaining market share in the UK over the past 3 years.

“We look forward to leveraging that footprint, balance sheet and experience.”

“We have created a fantastic employee culture throughout our business and when we met the executive team at Rex we knew that it would be a great cultural fit,” Mr Bechard said.

The combined group will be headed by Davin Miller.

Mr Carulli and Mr Bechard will continue running the Cirrus8 and RealTrust businesses.

The combined group will be majority-owned by Potentia Capital.

“As we looked across the PropTech ecosystem, the C8 Group really stood out to us as being at the forefront of innovation and customer service,” Cheyne Tan and Michael McNamara, both Partners at Potentia said.

“We believe there is a strong values-fit between the two organisations and are excited about what this combination means for C8 Group customers, Rex customers and the industry as a whole.”
