Broken glass and a smashed sidewalk were seen outside the abandoned Aleppo International Airport in footage published online on December 3.

Syrian rebels said they capture the airport on November 30.

Footage published by local outlet Shaam Network on Tuesday shows the abandoned airport with some damage on the outside. The inside of the airport was not damaged, according to Shaam Network.

Speaking in the video, the outlet’s reporter says rebels handed the airport over to the Civil Transport Administration. Credit: Shaam Network via Storyful
