The Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) marked its 50th anniversary by recognising top performers in the ACT real estate industry at its annual Awards for Excellence

The Announcement:

The Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) celebrated its 50th year of operation by recognising the outstanding achievements of the ACT’s real estate professionals at its annual Awards for Excellence held at Hotel Realm on 31st August.

The event, which saw over 400 attendees, aimed to encourage, recognise and promote excellence and best practice in the ACT’s real estate profession.

REIACT President Hannah Gill highlighted the national recognition of ACT real estate professionals.

“Real estate professionals in the ACT are being recognised nationally, with the ACT bringing home the highest number of awards at the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s National Awards for Excellence 2024 held in May,” Ms Gill said.

“We want to build on that momentum for our local industry Awards and I am glad that more real estate professionals are seeing the value of showcasing their achievements, innovations and best practices.”

REIACT CEO Maria Edwards emphasised the importance of upholding professionalism and high standards in the industry.

“This is what we have been promoting to our members for the last five decades, and we will strive to do so for the years to come,” Ms Edwards said.

This year’s awards saw 109 submissions across 34 categories, including two new categories for the strata sector: strata manager and strata management agency awards.
