The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) has revealed its leadership team and board members for 2025, with Leanne Pilkington continuing her role as president.

Ms Pilkington will be supported by Deputy President Hannah Gill and FRAC Chair Cain Cooke as the organization prepares to navigate industry challenges and opportunities in the year ahead.

The announcement comes alongside the appointment of new Chief Executive Officer Scott Rollason, who brings extensive experience in industry associations and leadership to the role.

“2024 was a challenging year for our industry and the broader community, but we’ve demonstrated remarkable resilience,” Ms Pilkington said.

“As we step into 2025, I am excited to collaborate with this exceptional board to address ongoing challenges, seize emerging opportunities, and continue advocating for our industry and consumers alike.”

The organisation has also welcomed several accomplished industry professionals to its board, including Andrew Bell as Additional Director, Carol Need representing NT, Jacob Cain for VIC, Michael Walsh from TAS, Suzanne Brown representing WA and Thomas McGlynn from NSW.

“We are thrilled to have Scott on board. His fresh perspective and strategic vision will be invaluable as we look to the year ahead,” Ms Pilkington said.

“With this renewed leadership, REIA remains committed to representing the interests of Australia’s real estate industry at the highest level and working towards a vibrant, sustainable property sector.”
