REA Group Excellence Awards winners announced

The REA Group last night celebrated the best of the best in the property industry at its Annual Excellence Awards gala in Melbourne.

Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise the outstanding performance of realestate.com.au and
realcommercial.com.au customers who support Australians throughout all aspects of the property journey.

With more awards than ever before, property professionals had the opportunity to take home almost 70 data-driven and submission-based awards.

“It’s been another incredible year for the industry, and it was fantastic to get the country’s top agents and agencies together to celebrate their success,” said REA Group General Manager – Customer Excellence, Amy Read.

“These prestigious awards place a spotlight on the incredible achievements of individuals and teams across the industry, helping our customers to broaden their reach and win new business. I’d like to extend a huge congratulations to all our finalists and winners.”

The winning prizes included advertising opportunities, media coverage, features on
realestate.com.au and content across REA Group’s social media channels.

In addition, the Contribution to Community winner received $10,000 to donate to a not-for-profit of their choosing, the Rising Star received a $5,000 development grant, and the Wellbeing Initiative of the Year recipient received a wellbeing series curated specifically for their team by the experts at Benny Buton.

Harris Real Estate took out the Residential Agency of the Year award for the agency’s hyper-local campaigns that enabled Harris agents to grow recognition in their service areas. The agency also built a one-on-one training program in house with a learning platform of more than 300 courses.

Karuna Mazzocchi from Coronis Real Estate took out the coveted title of Most Influential Woman in Property, with the judges commending her promotion of women in the property industry.
They said: “She fosters diversity, and empowers women in leadership. Her mission goes beyond her own business, influencing and inspiring other businesses recognise biases, and to hire and promote based on skills.”

Hygge Property took home the inaugural Excellence in Sustainability award for its Village in Daylesford project which championed well designed community living with a focus on social and environmental sustainability.

2024 has also been marked by significant milestones for Harcourts Solutions, who came out on top
for Property Management team of the Year.

Professionals Real Estate took home the win for Contribution to Community, following more than two decades of efforts in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
