The Leaders Group extends across Wellington, Kapiti Mana, Horowhenua, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa, and Hawkes Bay, with 24 branches and 187 salespeople within their group.

They complete more than 1,000 sales per annum and are considered market leaders in 80 per cent of their trade areas.

Being the only company to maintain a local branch network, the Leaders Group is strongly committed to helping the communities in which they live and work.

Through the company’s initiatives and causes, both salespeople and the company continue to work to make a difference in the local communities.

Leaders commenced in Wellington in 1987 with agencies in Wellington City, Hutt Valley, and the Wairarapa under the stewardship of Rob Garlick, Carl Perkins, and Peter Scott.

They continue to successfully run the Leaders Group throughout the Wellington region.

The relationship with Ray White commenced in early 2017, in what was considered one of the most significant changes in the real estate industry across New Zealand.

Ray White welcomed the Leader’s Real Estate Group to their network.

The success of the relationship has been evident in the continued growth of the Ray White Leaders Group and also Ray White across New Zealand.

In recommitting to Ray White, Rob Garlick who founded the Leader’s Real Estate Group, said they are just as excited today as they were when they joined Ray White.

“We have benefited from the world-class customer experience NPS system, we have indoctrinated our business to embrace systems and infrastructure from Ray White, which has allowed our business to grow both in efficiency and scale,” Mr Garlick said.

“Our customers benefit, and our salespeople continue to grow their productivity and that has given us an easy path in our decision to recommit to Ray White New Zealand.”

Daniel Coulson, Ray White New Zealand chief executive said the Leaders Group had similar values to Ray White, with integrity, family values and pride in every transaction at the core of what they do.

“They are a business that is fully engaged with Ray White and have grown significantly, which, as a company, Ray White has benefited from across New Zealand,” Mr Coulson said.

“We are very proud of Ray White Leaders and their recommitment to Ray White.”

Ray White continues to support their network through technology and infrastructure differentiators, which allow their business to be more connected and more productive, and this results in significant benefits to all of the stakeholders within Ray White.

In 2025 Ray White will fully deploy their exclusive in-house Nurturecloud platform, which offers Ray White members a significant point of difference.
