Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s opening Sunday Night Football matchup of the season between the LA Rams and the Detroit Lions.

This is a rematch from last season’s Wild Card round when the Lions won 24-23. And Detroit is favored to come out on top once again.

The Rams finished last season with a 10-7 record to finish second in the NFC West before falling to the Lions. Detroit’s regular-season record was slightly better — 12-5 — and they went on to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after dispatching the Rams, before they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
