The charitable arm of one of Australasia’s leading real estate networks has launched a heartfelt initiative aimed at helping the homeless this winter.

The Raine & Horne Foundation has launched Clothes for a Cause, which will provide hoodies, socks and crew neck shirts to the nation’s most vulnerable residents.

Raine & Horne Executive Chairman, Angus Raine, said the campaign had the support of the entire network.

“Through the Raine & Horne Foundation, we have partnered with our long-term charity ally, Dignity, to provide essential warm clothing to those in need,” he said.

“This winter, for every item of clothing purchased from our collection, we will donate the same non-branded essential clothing to Dignity on behalf of the buyer.

“It’s a one-for-one donation that will directly support Dignity’s crucial mission of supporting and empowering people at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing warm clothing for the coldest months.

“This campaign has the support of our 3000-strong network of principals, sales agents, property managers and administrative staff who are looking for a way to support those experiencing homelessness.”

Mr Raine said he was proud that the range of clothes, which includes socks, hoodies and crew necks, had been crafted with the highest-quality materials from renowned suppliers such as AS Colour.

“We are thrilled that any purchases will enable us to provide these premium, warm garments to those in need,” he said.

Mr Raine also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with Dignity.

“This partnership once again underlines Raine & Horne Foundation’s commitment to creating lasting social impact,” he said.

“Over the past three years alone, our partnership with Dignity has raised more than $200,000 while reinforcing our dedication to supporting causes crucial for the well-being of our communities.

“We believe this latest initiative with Dignity will allow the Raine & Horne Foundation to support Australians doing it tough this winter.”

Dignity, an organisation providing essential services such as supported temporary accommodation, longer-term housing and employment programs and food relief, has an extremely high success rate of supporting individuals find their path forward into stable housing.

Dignity’s Chief Executive Officer, Suzanne Hopman, said the organisation first partnered with the Raine & Horne Foundation in 2021 and were delighted to have their support again this year.

“It is more challenging than ever, right now, to find a way forward out of homelessness,” Ms Hooman said.

“Therefore, supporting people by providing for basic needs and winter essentials is so important.” To help Dignity empower Australians at risk of or experiencing homelessness, visit dignity.org.au.
