Rachel Lindsay was beaming as she stepped out for a college football event in Atlanta just weeks after finalizing her divorce from Bryan Abasolo.
The former Bachelorette, 39, smiled from ear to ear while attending the 11th Annual Allstate Party at The Playoff on Saturday, January 18.
Lindsay wore a black blouse and black skirt with a black and gold belt and black suede boots for the bash, which was hosted by ESPN and the College Football Playoff ahead of the National Championship game on Monday. (Ohio State University and University of Notre Dame will play in Atlanta on Monday night.)
The former reality star topped off her party look with a brown suede overcoat, a black necklace and a golden charm necklace. She wore her hair down with a slight wave. Lindsay’s best accessory, however, might’ve been her big, white smile.
The college football event marked Lindsay’s first public outing since Us confirmed that she and Abasolo, 44, finalized their divorce on January 7.
Lindsay and Abasolo fell in love during season 13 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2017. They got married two years later after getting engaged on the show.
Abasolo filed for divorce in January 2024, listing their date of separation as December 31, 2023.
The estranged couple quickly found themselves in a messy legal battle in part because they didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding.
Us Weekly confirmed in July 2024 that Lindsay was ordered to pay her ex-husband $13,257 a month in temporary spousal support. She was also ordered by a judge to pay Abasolo $15,000 in attorney’s fees and $5,000 for forensic expert expenses.
When it comes to their divorce settlement, Us confirmed that Abasolo “waives, discharges and releases” Lindsay from “any and all” future payments. However, the January filing revealed that Lindsay still owes Abasolo $460,229.
Outside of Lindsay’s outstanding payments to Abasolo, the former spouses appeared to come to a somewhat equal agreement for splitting their properties.
Abasolo will keep their Miami home and his 2021 Honda Accord, according to the docs. Lindsay, meanwhile, gets to keep her engagement and wedding rings along with her California home and 2023 Porsche Macan.
Days before finalizing her divorce, Lindsay reflected on her rocky 2024 and all the positives that came from her journey.
“WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!!! Literally crying as I write this because I am looking back on this year and am so thankful for the friends, family and moments that lifted me up, encouraged me, and just made me laugh through it all,” she captioned a December 31, 2024, Instagram post, featuring clips of Lindsay hosting different shows, attending football games and traveling with friends.
She added: “I am a living testimony because This time last year I was crying tears of sadness and confusion BUT this year I have tears full of happiness and hopefulness. Here’s to believing you are stronger than you think! I am so grateful and excited for 2025!! 🥳✨💛.”
