PropTech expert, Betty Giovas has joined Harcourts NSW as property operations manager, as the team looks to elevate their technology solutions.

The Announcement:

Harcourts NSW is proud to welcome an outstanding new member to the team, Betty Giovas, as the NSW property operations manager.

A seasoned professional with a 24-year history in real estate and PropTech, Ms Giovas’ expansive career began in leasing and property management before a fortunate foray into PropTech, where she discovered her knack for analytical and technical pursuits.

With a flair for solving complex problems, Ms Giovas was nominated for an individual customer service award by the Customer Service Institute of Australia, an acknowledgement of her dedication to providing exemplary customer experience.

Over the past eight years, Ms Giovas has been at the forefront of managing the implementation and transition of property management and sales software products in real estate offices across Australia.

This role cemented her status as a go-to expert for firms navigating significant technological changes.

Recognised for her exceptional expertise in trust accounting, Ms Giovas stands out as one of the country’s most skilled trust accountants, with a proven ability to untangle the most complicated bank reconciliations.

Her 12-plus years of experience in facilitating training sessions have been instrumental in helping agencies optimise their operations, empowering them to fully leverage their tech stacks for enhanced efficiency and service delivery.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Ms Giovas is a dedicated mother of two boys and embraces the role of ‘soccer team momager’ with a blend of enthusiasm and skills that spills over into her professional life.

Drawn to Harcourts for not only the professional opportunities but also the company culture and values, Ms Giovas was particularly drawn to the Harcourts principle of ‘People First,’ which resonates with her own experience and values.

This, coupled with her love for aiding real estate offices to achieve success and provide world-class customer experiences, makes her a perfect fit for the Harcourts NSW team.

Harcourts NSW Chief Executive Officer, Katrina Tarrant, said it was Ms Giovas’ profound expertise in PropTech and her relentless pursuit of excellence that initially caught her attention.

“Yet, it wasn’t just her professional background that stood out to me; it was her warmth and genuine compassion, ” Ms Tarrant said.

“These qualities resonated with me deeply, aligning perfectly with our mission to provide unparalleled real estate services.

“I am truly excited about the future.”

Head of Property Management at Harcourts Australia, Karmen Costigan, said they offer exceptional property management support and Ms Giovas was the perfect addition to the team.

“She possesses the perfect combination of technical prowess and genuine care to deliver  the finest experience in PM consulting across NSW,” Ms Costigan said.

“We have set some ambitious goals for ourselves at Harcourts NSW, and with Betty joining our ranks, I am more confident than ever,” Ms Tarrant said.

“I eagerly anticipate the depth of knowledge and experience she is set to bring to our team, enriching our journey towards achieving our lofty aspirations.”
