A Brazilian OnlyFans star who was filmed having sex with an inmate in a jail cell tried to flee the UK before she was arrested at Heathrow airport, a court has heard.

Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30-year-old prison officer, is facing jail after the clip in HMP Wandsworth was shared on social media.

In the footage, Ms De Sousa Abreu – who appeared on a swingers show on Channel 4 – is seen with convicted burglar Linton Weirich, 36, as her discarded radio constantly crackles with messages from colleagues.

Ms De Sousa Abreu, of Fulham, south-west London, admitted one charge of misconduct in public office when she appeared at Isleworth Crown Court.

Her charge sheet states that her conduct “amounted to an abuse of the public’s trust in the office holder by engaging in a sexual act with a prisoner in a prison cell”.

Wearing a white blazer and black top, she showed no emotion after admitting the single charge.

Eloise Marshall KC, prosecuting, told the court a police interview recorded with the inmate in the video “contains information that will be subject of further investigation”.

Martin Edmunds KC, the judge, bailed Ms De Sousa Abreu ahead of sentence on Nov 7. He also ordered a pre-sentence report.

Ms De Sousa Abreu’s Portuguese passport must remain in police possession, she cannot apply for any international travel documents and is barred from entering any UK travel ports. She is also subject to an electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 9am each day.

Gayathri Yogarajah, her lawyer, earlier described her as a “young mother” and “a person of good character”.

The officer had telephoned the prison as she fled to Heathrow Airport to say that she was not returning to work and that her husband would return her equipment.

‘Breach of public’s trust’

Tetteh Turkson, the senior Crown Prosecutor, said: “This was a shocking breach of the public’s trust. De Sousa was clearly an enthusiastic participant who wrongly thought she would avoid responsibility.

“The CPS recognises there is no excuse for any prison officer who conducts themselves in such a manner, and we will never hesitate to prosecute those who abuse their position of power.

“After working closely with the Metropolitan Police to build the strongest possible case, De Sousa had no option but accept she was guilty. She will now rightly face the consequences of her actions.”

A Prison Service spokesman said: “Staff corruption is not tolerated and the former prison officer allegedly featured in this video has been reported to the police.”
