As my RedState colleague Margaret Clark reported earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held nothing back Wednesday in his powerful speech before Congress, calling out the pro-Hamas “useful idiots” here in America for what they are while refreshing everyone’s memory as to the barbarism perpetrated by Hamas terrorists against innocent Israeli civilians on October 7th.

“Well, I have a message for these protestors: When the tyrants of Tehran, who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s USEFUL IDIOTS!” Netanyahu emphatically stated, which prompted a round of applause.

Many Democrats including presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris shamefully chose not to show up for the address. But one who did was Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who has repeatedly, without evidence, accused Netanyahu of war crimes, including genocide, and has previously invoked the antisemitic “From the River to the Sea” chant in her propaganda messaging against Israel and Jewish people.

Though the speech was serious and the situation momentus, Tlaib’s sign sparked some hilarious Twitter/X memes and some thoughtful ones in other cases:

And perhaps my favorite one of all:

Last but not least, from former Israeli government spokesman Eylon Levy:

On the more enraging side of things, there was this:

And yet she keeps getting sent back to Washington, DC. Go figure.
