The Announcement:

Ouwens Casserly Real Estate has strengthened its market position through the acquisition of Muirhead Property Management and Property Management S.A., while simultaneously launching OC Short-Term Rentals and opening a new South Coast office in Goolwa.

These strategic moves significantly expand the agency’s property management portfolio and geographical presence across South Australia.

The acquisitions bring top industry talent to the group while enhancing their property management services offering.

“When we considered stepping away from business ownership, Ouwens Casserly was our first choice,” said Prue Muirhead, Co-Founder of Muirhead Property Management.

“They share our vision for exceptional customer service. OC’s innovative approach and unwavering client focus made it clear that our clients would be in the best hands.”

The launch of OC Short-Term Rentals represents a strategic expansion into holiday home management across South Australia, offering comprehensive services including marketing, guest management, and premium property care.

Alex Ouwens, Executive Director & Co-Founder, emphasised the strategic nature of the expansion.

“With our vision for ‘One OC’ and a commitment to providing a holistic, seamless experience for our clients, expanding into holiday rentals felt like a natural next step for us,” Mr Ouwens said.

Nathan Casserly, Executive Director & Co-Founder, highlighted the importance of team building in their growth strategy.

“Everything we’ve done — from growing our PM portfolio to welcoming industry experts — has been about building a team of exceptional people who elevate the service we offer to our clients,” Mr Casserly said.

The new OC South Coast office in Goolwa’s Main Road will serve as a hub for the company’s expanding operations in the region.
