One person is dead following a reported domestic disturbance early Sunday in a central Lubbock neighborhood.
Police responded about 3:07 a.m. Sunday to the 3600 block of 42nd Street following reports of a domestic disturbance, according to a statement from Lubbock police.
One person was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
It was not immediately clear how the person was injured or what prompted the violence as the investigation is ongoing.
