DEI another day.

That’s the message America is sending to corporations, and it seems these woke behemoths are finally getting the message and kneeling before you.

Among them is Microsoft, probably one of the largest of the beasts. According to IGN, it recently laid off a “key” DEI team, stating that their “role and team were eliminated due to ‘changing businesses needs’ as of July 1.

This sent one of its former employees ranting about how Microsoft no longer sees DEI as important to its business in an email, and as you’ll see, the panic isn’t just that DEI is dying at Microsoft, but that it’s dying everywhere:

“Unofficially in my opinion, not specific to Microsoft alone, but [conservative policy plan] Project 2025 looms and true systems change work associated with DEI programs everywhere are no longer business critical or smart as they were in 2020. Hence the purposeful and strategic 3-5 year shelf life of many company’s inclusion commitments post the murder of George Floyd are being reevaluated,” the email reads. “And the way I see it, the timing was impeccable so businesses everywhere could reevaluate the path forward should their U.S. federal contracts be at risk if the work continues on its face.”

The email goes on to praise the work of DEI teams at Microsoft, saying that “impossible mountains were moved” during their tenure and celebrating the “brilliant, ethical, and world class strategists at the company, helping to make the world a better place.” However, they also accused executive leadership of “investigated and evidenced discrimination, harassment, and toxicity” directed toward them during their time at the company.

What is best in life?

Microsoft spox Jeff Jones stated that Microsoft’s DEI commitments “remain unchanged” and that the company’s “focus on diversity and inclusion is unwavering,” but one can’t help but think that this is appeasement talk. Firing off a key DEI team, which is used to guide DEI policy, doesn’t just get eliminated without there being a backing away from the practice in some regard.

One thing the employee who wrote the email was right about is that DEI is dying off across the corporate landscape.

Last month, I wrote how Tractor Supply Co. ditched any commitment to DEI once its agenda was exposed to the public. It backed away from all of it and pledged itself to real American values, swearing not to contribute to any causes that run contrary to traditional American values, including getting involved in any LGBT programs. It even cut off data to the Human Rights Campaign.

Then, as Streiff reported on Wednesday, John Deere signaled its own surrender after its DEI policies were exposed to sunlight. According to John Deere, their participation in anything that resembles wokeness, both inside and outside the company. However, like Microsoft, it gave lip-service to the “muh diversity” crowd.

Here’s the best part…it’s all your fault.

Back in December 2023, I wrote a report that indicated that ESG focused-programs (which is the source of DEI programs) had lost trillions of dollars in funding. Yes, trillions

This is in large part because of boycotts and refusals to participate or buy anything that as that leftist-bent ESG flavor to it. The rejection was so severe that radical leftists were painting regular Americans as economic terrorists.

The panic from the left is absolutely real as DEI positions are terminated left and right. Netflix, Walmart, Wells Fargo, and more have all backed away from their DEI commitments. According to FIG, a consulting firm, laid off Netflix DEI employees who got laid off discovered the brutal reality of what they are…an expensive virtue signal:

Several have (anonymously) spoken to news outlets and believe they were considered expendable “diversity hires”, brought on to make the company look good, but ultimately when the company ran into tough times, they were the first to be let go.

Well…yeah. You weren’t hired for your talent. You weren’t hired for your merit. You were hired because you brought an aesthetic that appeased certain political groups. Once things got financially dicey, you can bet the people who don’t serve a real purpose will be the first to go.

DEI is expensive and, ultimately, unnecessary. You can bet your bottom dollar that more corporations are going to ditch DEI as more and more customers bleed off.

More importantly, it shows the power of how the message really gets across thanks to customers knowing about it happening. To be clear, many organizations would rather you not find out just how infections the DEI issue has been, but that’s why we’re here. To get the word out. This has, naturally, angered the left, and they’ve tried to silence us, but like the dying DEI, our ability to fight through the censorship efforts is all because of you.

So take a bow, dear reader. Pat yourself on the back. Grab yourself a cold glass of whatever you replaced Bud Light with.
