Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina Governor, United Nations Ambassador, and GOP presidential candidate, needed only four words to embarrass ABC’s George Stephanopoulos over his previous efforts to sweep Joe Biden’s mental decline under the rug. “Believe me now, George?” was all she had to say to completely expose the biased news anchor.

The story begins with an August 2023 “Good Morning America” interview where former Clinton aide Stephanopoulos—who once was in charge of smearing women who claimed the philandering former president sexually assaulted or abused them—went nuclear on Haley when she suggested that Biden would not be able to finish a second term should he be reelected. It’s now become obvious to all but the deepest Biden sycophants that she was right, and after the president’s disastrous debate performance, questions abound about whether he can even finish out his current term, much less another one.

Here’s how it went down:

“There’s no way Joe Biden is gonna finish his term,” Haley said, “I think Kamala Harris is gonna be the next president and that should send a chill up every American spine. But also think the fact that we have a primary-“

“Excuse me, excuse me,” Stephanopoulos interrupted with a scowl on his face. “How do you know Joe Biden’s not gonna finish his term? What is that based on?”

The exchange intensified even further as the outraged, spittle-lipped anchor was unable to control his temper and threw professionalism out the window. It was an ugly performance (edited for brevity):

“Ask Americans, do you think he’s gonna finish his term? Do you think that he’s actually gonna finish what he started?” Haley responded. “We look at the decline he’s had over the last few years. You have to be honest with the American people, George. There’s no way that Joe Biden is gonna finish out a next term…”

“Again, you didn’t answer the question,” Stephanopoulos pushed back. “What evidence you have that he’s not gonna finish the term? What Americans feel has no basis on whether he’s gonna finish his term or not.”

“I mean, if you look at the decline… every person should be able to tell what country they were in the week before. He couldn’t do that,” Haley told the anchor. “Every person should be able to tell how many grandkids they have…

“Believe me now, George?” I love it.

It’s not the first and probably won’t be the last time the misogynist ABC host has treated women poorly on his show:

As RedState’s Streiff reported, this is the guy that they’re trotting out to interview Biden in the president’s desperate bid to show he hasn’t lost all his marbles. Does anyone honestly think he’s going to ask any tough questions? The interview isn’t even going to be aired live, which is frankly pathetic at this point. Joe can’t even make it through a sit-down with a softball-throwing, partisan reporter? How much will they edit it? ABC is not saying. (I will point out that at least one pundit has suggested that George actually will go hard on him to mend his tattered reputation; we shall see.)

Biden Will Try to Prove He’s Not Catatonic in an Extended Interview With George Stephanopoulos

As badly as the president was exposed by his vacant stares and incoherent mumbling during the debate, the media was exposed just as gravely for covering this up for so long. Will Stephanopolous care, or will he just continue to play his role as a Biden cheerleader and misinformation machine?
