Top agent Nick Tsaccounis has been promoted to equity partner at Highland, recognising his 15 years of high performance with the agency.

The Announcement:

Highland has announced the promotion of Nick Tsaccounis to equity partner, further solidifying the agency’s commitment to excellence and growth in the real estate sector.

Mr Tsaccounis’ consistent top performance and his unwavering dedication to his clients within Cronulla and the Sutherland Shire has been instrumental in his rise within the company over the last 15 years, making this promotion a natural progression in his career.

The elevation of Mr Tsaccounis as partner came the same day that Highland celebrated their 17th anniversary late last week in a doubly exciting day for the high-performing real estate company.

Having joined Highland on November 10th, 2009 when the company was still located on Gibbs Street, Mr Tsaccounis has been a leader in the sales team from the very beginning.

Over the years, Mr Tsaccounis has honed his craft and solidified his reputation as a high-performing agent, predominantly in the Cronulla and Greenhills Beach areas, consistently ranking in Top 10 agent lists and dominating the Cronulla market.

His last 12 months alone have seen Mr Tsaccounis sell close to 40 properties worth a combined $51 million in sales – a testament to his hard work and strategic approach.

“Becoming a Partner at Highland is a significant milestone in my career, and I am deeply honoured to take on this new role,” Mr Tsaccounis said.

“My journey with the business has been incredibly rewarding, from those early days to now I have been awed by what the team has been able to achieve to this point in our history.

“I am extremely proud to have been involved in the Highland evolution up to this point, leading a team and contributing to the company’s growth, and now I am excited to continue working alongside our extraordinary team in this new role as we aim to set new benchmarks in the industry.”

The promotion has been a welcome outcome for Highland CEO David Highland.

Having worked together for the last 15 years, Mr Highland has witnessed Nick’s growth and emergence as a leader of the brand.

“It has been a long time coming,” Mr Highland said.

“Nick’s journey with Highland has been nothing short of remarkable.

“From the very beginning, he has shown unparalleled commitment to his clients and his team.

“His honesty, upfront approach, and deep understanding of the local market have made him one of our most valued agents and I am thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team and look forward to seeing him continue to thrive in this new role.”

Throughout his tenure at Highland, Mr Tsaccounis has shown leadership potential and has successfully trained budding agents within the company.

Currently Nick and his team of three, including Lauren Lielkajis and Ryan Moore, have been navigating the complexities of the real estate market, delivering exceptional results for their clients and contributing significantly to the company’s success.

“My ability to close deals for my clients is the ultimate goal but it has been infinitively more rewarding to be able to impart my wisdom and help foster up-and-coming careers,” Mr Tsaccounis said.

His triumphs have not only been on the professional side but also personal. Through his work at Highland, Mr Tsaccounis met his partner and started a family.

“Lauren has been my rock and ultimate supporter during my career with the company,” he said.

“That I have been able to find success professionally in real estate with Highland but also find my partner and start a family, I couldn’t have asked for a better spring board than the one I have with David and the wider team.”

Having built long-lasting relationships with his clients through his upfront and honest communication, Mr Tsaccounis pledges to continue to produce outstanding results in the Cronulla/Sutherland Shire markets, now as an official leader within the Highland organisation.
