The Announcement:

Place Estate Agents has welcomed Nick Moloney as Lead Agent at Place Ascot and Place Nundah under the leadership of principals Patrick McKinnon and Drew Davies.

Mr Moloney brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, specialising in multi-million-dollar properties and high-profile office spaces in Sydney.

The move marks his transition from commercial to residential real estate, with a focus on Wavell Heights and surrounding areas in Brisbane’s north.

“Leaving behind my business in Sydney and transitioning to a new market was a big decision,” Mr Moloney said.

“But I’m excited about this next chapter. The lifestyle in Queensland is unmatched, and with Place’s incredible brand and leadership under Drew and Patrick, I know this is the right move to continue my past accomplishments.”

Mr Moloney’s impressive track record includes multiple national and state awards, including first place for Top Commercial Principal Number of Sales from 2021 to 2023 and Top Commercial Salesperson Highest Value Transaction in 2020 and 2021.

Place Ascot Principal Drew Davies said the appointment came after years of maintaining contact through social media.

“Nick is an incredible addition to our team. His track record of high-level transactions and his commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with the culture we’ve built at Place Ascot and Place Nundah,” Mr Davies said.

“We’re excited to see him transition into residential sales and bring his expertise to the northside market.”

Place Nundah Director Patrick McKinnon also welcomed the appointment.

“Nick’s wealth of experience and success in commercial real estate speaks for itself,” Mr McKinnon said.

“What truly stands out, though, is his drive and passion to continue growing and evolving. We’re thrilled to have him on board and are confident that he will have an immediate impact in Wavell Heights and beyond.”

Mr Moloney plans to apply the same dedication and ethical practice that defined his success in commercial real estate to his new role.

“I’ve built a strong reputation in the commercial space, and I’ll now be bringing that expertise to residential sales,” he said.

“My goal is to create lasting relationships with clients, deliver outstanding results and continue to grow as a top agent with Place.”
