The office, located in Underwood in Brisbane’s south, is the third new office to open this year under the RE/MAX banner.

Jitendra (JD) and Sandy Deo have been operating their successful real estate business since 2017, servicing the wider Brisbane community in both sales and property management.

“We are excited about this next step for our business and feel that aligning with the RE/MAX brand was the right choice,” Mr Deo said.

“We have a strong connection throughout Brisbane and beyond, and we’re looking forward to working with the brand to leverage further growth and opportunities for our business.”

Alongside their real estate business, they continue to operate the successful JD Media Corporation, the parent company of Australian Indian Times, Australian Indian Radio, and Australian Global Indian TV, as well as electrical business, JD Electrical.

“I have always worked hard to establish a strong footprint both in terms of business, and community connection,” Mr Deo said.

“Our businesses have allowed us the opportunity to merge these two passions – business and community – and the growth we’ve experienced in terms of our real estate business and anticipation of continued growth, we are ready to lean into and expand alongside the strong platform that is RE/MAX.

“Real Estate has been a passion of ours for many years and DEO Realty has provided an excellent opportunity to connect and learn within our market, and we feel now is the right time to extend on that, through connecting with leaders in the global real estate industry.”

Having moved to Australia in 2001, JD and Sandy firmly set their sights on establishing themselves as proactive community members and business owners.

As prominent figures within the Australian Indian community, they are well respected and through establishing the DEO Family Charitable Foundation remain active organisers and sponsors of a number of public and charitable events.

“Community is very important to us, and has been for many, many years,” Mrs Deo said.

“We are looking forward to continuing to support our community and guide our clients in their real estate journey as RE/MAX Landmark.”

RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren welcomes JD and Sandy to the network, sharing the network’s enthusiasm in terms of growth and connection between business leaders.

“JD and Sandy epitomise the importance of the leadership and the connection between real estate agents and their communities within the modern real estate landscape,” Mr Davoren said.

“With an already successful business and detailed network throughout south-east Queensland, we know they’ll represent the RE/MAX brand with integrity.

“We’re thrilled to have them join the network as RE/MAX Landmark and look forward to seeing and supporting their business as it flourishes over the coming years.”
