LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Traffic on eastbound Interstate 630 in Little Rock was backed up Saturday evening due to a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation’s IDriveArkansas cameras, the crash happened near exit 4 and impacted all lanes.
The incident was first reported at 5:22 p.m. and crews from ARDOT are still working to clean up the scene.
ARDOT does report that someone was traffic is being diverted off the interstate at exit 5.
According to the Little Rock Fire Department, five people were injured in the crash and were transported to local hospitals, but none were students and none were in critical condition.
Officials did not say what school the students in the bus were from, but did say that all were able to get on to another bus.
