LB Terrel Bernard, NCB Taron Johnson, S Mike Edwards, OT Ryan Van Demark, LB Edefuan Ulofoshio

Due to injury, the Bills ruled out Bernard (pectoral) and Johnson (forearm) early in the week, so there is no real surprise with their inclusion. The good news for the Bills is that, like Johnson last week, Bernard avoided having to go on injured reserve, which means he’ll likely return by the Jets game in Week 6 at the latest.

The Edwards status is slightly surprising, given that he played some special teams last week against the Dolphins. But the Bills instead opted for rookie defensive end Javon Solomon and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to be active, leaving the team with only three safeties (Taylor Rapp, Damar Hamlin and Cole Bishop) available for the game.
