High-profile owner of Ray White Remuera, Megan Jaffe, and her business partner, Thomas Farmer, continue to build on their success in New Zealand, with the opening of Ray White Ponsonby.

Ray White Remuera has been Ray White’s top office in New Zealand for nine years running and Ms Jaffe said she hoped to bring the same level of service to the Ponsonby community.

With a foundation sales team of five experienced salespeople, Ms Jaffe said recruiting the right people would be a focus for Ray White Ponsonby, along with growing a property management division.

“Our main goal is to establish the right team, with the right presence in the Ponsonby community,” Ms Jaffe said.

“We want to be known in Ponsonby for exactly what we’re known for at Ray White Remuera – good people, and supporting, contributing and doing what is right for our local community.”

Ms Jaffe said there were three main reasons they decided to establish a business in Ponsonby.

“Our salespeople asked us many, many times to do it,” she said.

“Many of our team reflect the demographic of the area and live and love the lifestyle on offer; increasingly so as the next generation of salesperson joins and builds their market share in their chosen geographical area.

“Ponsonby people are Ponsonby people – they up, down, and cross-size across the gorgeous suburbs surrounding Ponsonby.”

She said her team would support their clients through the chapters of their lives and real estate journey in their chosen area.

“Ponsonby is such a vibrant and cool area, it’s very happy there,” she said.

“It provides a nice balance to the more traditional and gentrified suburbs that we currently serve.

“We love the balance of ages, stages and real estate needs.”

The office had its official opening last week, which was attended by Ray White Group Managing Director, Dan White, alongside former politician John Banks and leader of the ACT party David Seymour, while Ray White auctioneer John Bowring was the emcee.

Ray White New Zealand Chief Executive, Daniel Coulson, said he couldn’t think of a better team to reinvigorate the Ray White Ponsonby legacy.

“Ray White has a strong history as a market leader in Ponsonby and the legacy extends right back to the early days of Ray White first opening in New Zealand,” Mr Coulson said.

“It’s a key market for our group and with Megan and Thomas bringing Ray White back to Ponsonby, this marks the next generation for Ray White in the area.

“We are excited to see the market leadership, service and community engagement that Megan and Thomas offer their clients in Remuera provided to the Ponsonby community.”
