The Announcement:

Place Estate Agents has announced that Matthew Jabs will lead the Place Newmarket sales team as the office transitions into a new phase.

Mr Jabs, Place’s top performing salesperson, will continue his role as a sales agent while leading his experienced team, which includes Ross Armstrong, Danny Cody, James Gainford, Rosie Tanner, Gabrielle Rochester and Gaby Cortes.

The team’s impressive track record speaks for itself, having sold 174 properties in the 2023/2024 financial year, establishing them as one of Brisbane’s most successful real estate teams.

“As management changes, I’m thrilled to continue this journey with the Place Newmarket office, working closely with our exceptional sales team to deliver outstanding results for our clients,” Mr Jabs said.

A true local of Brisbane’s inner north, Mr Jabs has built his reputation on combining traditional service values with deep market knowledge.

“Our success comes down to a simple philosophy: we combine old-fashioned service with in-depth market knowledge to ensure our clients’ properties are sold at the best possible price,” he said.

The team has established a strong presence in Brisbane’s inner-northern suburbs, with 80% of their sales coming from repeat business and referrals.

Place CEO Damian Hackett expressed his confidence in the transition.

“Matt will continue to be a sales agent at Place Newmarket alongside his experienced team, ensuring the continued growth and success of the office under the Place banner,” Mr Hackett said.
