Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte are set to miss Manchester United’s Europa League match at Real Sociedad after picking up minor injuries.
The two players are unlikely to form part of Ruben Amorim’s travelling squad for Thursday’s last-16 first leg match in San Sebastian, although central midfielder Toby Collyer is available for selection after recovering from injury.
Maguire and Ugarte both picked up their injuries in Sunday’s FA Cup fifth-round defeat against Fulham, when both were substituted off.
32-year-old Maguire was substituted off at the start of extra-time, being replaced by Ayden Heaven, while Uruguay international Ugarte, 23, was withdrawn in the 53rd minute when he was replaced by Alejandro Garnacho.
The two players join an absentee list that includes Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, Altay Bayindir and Kobbie Mainoo, although Collyer is back having last featured against FCSB in the Europa League on January 30.
United host Arsenal in the Premier League three days after their trip to La Real, before playing the Basque side at Old Trafford in the return leg on March 13.
