FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is dead following an apparent Husky dog attack south of Fresno, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the unidentified homeless man was found Thursday morning after screams were heard around 5 a.m., in the area of North Avenue and Peach Avenue in Fresno County. When deputies found the injured man, he told deputies a Husky-type dog had attacked him.

The man was taken to the hospital but due to a significant loss of blood, he died shortly afterward. The dog who attacked the man has not been located.
