The Announcement:

CoreLogic International today announced the appointment of Malliga Krishnan as Chief Data Officer, a strategic addition to the executive team that underscores the company’s industry leadership in delivering the next generation of data products.

The appointment will ensure the continued success of CoreLogic International’s strategy, including the accelerated adoption of the Smart Data Platform, a suite of sophisticated capabilities that are unlocking the next generation of property data.

“As machine learning and generative AI revolutionise the property industry, I am thrilled to join CoreLogic as it embarks upon the next stage of its growth,” Ms Krishnan said.

Ms Krishnan joins CoreLogic with over 20 years of extensive experience in data strategy, analytics, and digital transformation.

Her career spans leadership roles at globally recognised firms such as Capgemini, EY, PwC, and IBM, as well as in the Banking and Financial Services sectors.

Most recently, as Managing Director of Data & Insights at Capgemini Australia and New Zealand, Ms Krishnan led transformative projects that included advancements in Generative AI, data platform modernisation, M&A integrations, and numerous data and analytics initiatives at scale.

CoreLogic International Chief Executive Officer Lisa Claes said Malliga’s leadership will be pivotal in unlocking the full potential of CoreLogic’s data assets through advanced analytics and rigorous data governance.

“We are thrilled to have Malliga on board. Her deep expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our data strategy, strengthening governance, and fostering innovation across our data assets,” Ms Claes said.

In her new role as Chief Data Officer, Ms Krishnan will oversee CoreLogic’s significant data function, focusing on enhancing the depth, breadth, sustainability, quality, accuracy, and timeliness of data.

Critically, she will spearhead the next phase of data innovation, unlocking property-level energy efficiency with CoreLogic’s Smart Data Platform to help support Australia’s efforts toward tackling climate change and achieving net zero.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms Krishnan is a strong advocate for Women in AI and Ethical AI, having supported initiatives like the APAC Women in AI Awards and the Australian Responsible AI Network.
