Luis Enrique has signed a new Paris Saint-Germain contract through to 2027.
The 54-year-old joined PSG in July 2023 and led the club to a domestic treble and the semi-finals of the Champions League in his first season.
His previous deal had been due to expire in the summer of 2025.
“I’m very happy to continue this story with Paris Saint-Germain,” Luis Enrique said. “I feel very comfortable here; we have all that we need in order to work in the best possible conditions. I think that the future looks very bright, and I hope to enjoy a lot more success with the club.”
Luis Enrique’s deal was announced alongside contract extensions for four first team players — Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes and Yoram Zague — and first professional deals for Ibrahim Mbaye, 17, and Naoufel El Hannach, 18.
Hakimi, Vitinha and Mendes have signed contract extensions through to 2029, while Zague has renewed his terms through to 2028. Mbaye and El Hannach’s first contracts run until 2027.

“We are delighted to announce the extension of our coach Luis Enrique together with six fantastic players who continue to build their future at Paris Saint-Germain,” said president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“These announcements are further examples of the strong, long-term foundations we have established at Paris Saint-Germain — based on developing the very best talent, who believe in the project, who fight for the shirt, and who place the collective above everything else.
“I am particularly grateful to our coach Luis Enrique who has driven great progression and cultural change at the club in such a short time.”
Luis Enrique has played an important role in reshaping PSG’s squad, bringing in a number of young players as part of a new strategic vision under the former Spain head coach and sporting director Luis Campos after Lionel Messi, Neymar and Sergio Ramos departed ahead of his first season in charge. The French side recruited Joao Neves, Desire Doue and Willian Pacho, who are all under the age of 23, in the summer of 2024.
PSG won Ligue 1 in Luis Enrique’s debut season, having finished nine points ahead of runners-up Monaco, while they defeated Lyon to lift the Lyon to lift the French Cup and Toulouse to claim the Trophee des Champions. However, they were beaten across two legs by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-finals
Luis Enrique’s side are 13 points clear at the Ligue 1 summit this term and progressed to the Champions League knockout play-offs, where they will play Brest.
