Property managers at high profile LJ Hooker offices are reporting dramatically reduced administrative workloads, sub-1 per cent arrears rates, and happier clients after the real estate group’s new partnership with property management platform Ailo.

The partnership, announced today, aims to help LJ Hooker’s franchise network enhance customer service while creating new business opportunities through the all-in-one platform that manages payments, accounting, communications and workflows.

Shane Colquhoun, who runs an award-winning LJ Hooker office in Nerang, Queensland, says his team “has never been happier” since migrating to the platform last year.

“I’ve never seen anything like it. The platform truly is working for us. It’s a better experience for everyone,” Colquhoun said.

“As the principal, I love it. Our property managers are happier, more confident, and have time now to focus on high-value work like delivering a great customer experience. It’s helping us grow and scale the business without adding complexity.”

According to Mr Colquhoun, his office has seen notable improvements, including:

  • Significant reduction in administrative hours
  • Arrears rates maintained below 1 per cent
  • Increased client satisfaction
  • Creditors contacting the office to express appreciation for faster payments.

Chris Keating, Head of Network Australia at LJ Hooker, emphasised the platform’s benefits for their business partner network.

“We’re seeing LJ Hooker property managers extract efficiencies, improve their service offering and improve margins through adoption of the Ailo platform,” Mr Keating said.

“Our agents are determined to provide their customers the best possible property management service, and Ailo is playing a valuable role in achieving those ambitions.”

Benjamin Ling, Ailo’s Head of Enterprise Sales, described LJ Hooker as “an industry leader embracing cutting-edge technology” and expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.

“We love partnering with progressive industry partners like LJ Hooker, which not only wants to provide a superior customer experience, but also shares our vision of transforming the property management industry,” he said.

Mr Ling suggests property management is shifting toward customer experience as its central focus, positioning it as a growth driver for real estate agencies and “the part of your business that nurtures strong relationships with everyone in your community.”

“By focusing on the customer experience, the Ailo platform is fast becoming the platform of choice for agencies looking to provide their team with more fulfilling careers, while also growing their bottom line,” he added.

LJ Hooker Group has operated in real estate since 1928 when it opened its first office in Maroubra, Sydney. The group now comprises 420 offices across Australia and New Zealand, with 4,300 sales professionals, property managers and support staff.

Ailo, founded in 2017, is a property management platform designed to help agencies adapt to increasing consumer expectations, attract and retain talent, and build more profitable businesses.
