I think one thing that both sides can agree on is that the 2024 presidential election cycle, specifically starting in June and going until Election Day, will one day be known as perhaps the wildest, most unpredictable campaign cycle in modern American history.
And we are so here for it!
As we reported earlier, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump put on an absolute master class Wednesday in trolling his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, and her purported boss, President Joe Biden, by hitching a ride on a garbage truck to a campaign event in Wisconsin.
The photos and videos of Trump, dressed in a suit and an orange safety vest, and the truck – decked out in Trump campaign signs and a grinning driver, were something else.

And as the media and Democrats were busy coping and seething over Trump keeping Biden’s “garbage” insult of Trump’s supporters in the spotlight, the former president had even more fun with it during the campaign rally, telling the hilarious story of how the garbage truck ride came to be, and how everything happened very fast.
At one point, he joked about how hard it was to get into the truck, and how later, he wanted to take the vest off at the rally but didn’t when he was told it made him look thin. He also quipped about how he may never take it off. The crowd, meanwhile, was totally loving it. Vintage stuff from Trump here:

In another clip making the rounds, Trump went off on Biden and Harris and also had a simple yet great closing message for his campaign, saying, “You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans.”
So very, very true.

As I watched Trump speak, I compared it to the scripted “closing argument” speech we got from Kamala Harris Tuesday night, where every last detail was staged down to the second, the emotion at times seemed forced, and where she wouldn’t have known what to do with herself had the teleprompter stopped working.
This was, of course, the same speech Joe Biden sabotaged when he called Trump supporters “garbage,” something that ironically happened during a Zoom call that was held to shore up the Latino vote for the Harris-Walz campaign.
Trump, on the other hand, went off the teleprompter often in his Wisconsin speech and was totally in his element, displaying all the joy and excitement that the Harris campaign has talked about but which has not been on display.
In the final days of this insane election cycle, the contrasts couldn’t be more stark. And the momentum, it seems, is headed in the right direction. To keep that happening, two very important things need to take place:
VOTE and PRAY. And then pray some more.
