Lance Bass provided Us with an update on fatherhood, as well as his upcoming his 10-year anniversary with husband Michael Turchin.
“It is so weird because unfortunately, we got married on December 20, and Christmas is, you know, besides Halloween, it’s my thing. So I totally gloss over our anniversary every year. I’m like, ‘Oh s—, it’s our anniversary.’ So we always do something in the summer to celebrate our anniversary,” Lance, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly at the 6th annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala on Friday, November 15, at the Maybourne Beverly Hills.
“So, this summer, we will definitely do a 10-year anniversary extravaganza,” the former ‘NSYNC singer continued. “I just don’t know what it’s gonna be, but I’ve always been looking forward to this, because on your wedding night, you don’t really get to enjoy it that much because you’re just always talking and it flies by.”
He added, “I didn’t really get to be there and be present. I want to throw a nice little anniversary party. We’re not doing any renewals or anything like that, just bring the exact same people who came to the wedding and have a really nice party.”

Bass and Turchin, 37, tied the knot in 2014. The pair welcomed twins — son Alexander and daughter Violet — in October 2021 via a surrogate. Bass told Us that his now -year-old twins were “definitely in a threenager” phase.

“I’ve heard about it and it’s really my daughter,” he said. “It’s just the one, and I know what it is. It’s the damn screen time. We don’t do tablets much, but of course, when you’re on a plane, it’s the only thing. Every time we go on a plane and she uses a tablet for a day, her brain is rewired and she turns into the craziest threenager.”
He continued, “They turn psychotic. There’s something, I’m sure they’ve done studies, but it definitely crushes your brain when you’re on a tablet.”
Speaking with Us last year, Bass shared that becoming parents had only strengthened his and Turchin’s relationship, saying the pair had “definitely bonded” more. “It’s amazing,” he shared in February 2023.

Bass echoed that sentiment speaking with Us on Friday, saying that Turchin was “so amazing” as a parent. “I knew he’d be a great dad, but he’s an insane dad,” Bass said of his husband. “They love him so much. He takes over the times where I’m on the road. He’s amazing.”
When asked if there was anything in particular he admired about his husband after 10 years together, Bass joked, “That he’s still with me,” before adding, “We’re together forever.”
