Kylie Kelce is setting the record straight about her double date involving Taylor Swift.
“I didn’t refuse anything,” Kelce, 32, shared on the Thursday, February 20, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast. “I wouldn’t refuse anything, especially if I was without child.”
Earlier this month, Kylie appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and recalled a time when Swift, 35, seemingly prepared a home-cooked meal that didn’t sit well with Kylie while on a double date with Travis and Jason Kelce.
“I don’t know that I really ate the meal,” Kylie told host Alex Cooper on the February 12 episode. “This is going to sound terrible. I didn’t really eat the meal because I was eight weeks pregnant.”
After appearing on the podcast, Kylie noticed a headline that stated she “refused to eat Taylor Swift’s home-cooked meal.”
In a segment called “F— Around & Find Out,” Kylie explained why the wording was so hurtful.
“The thing that bothers me the most about this headline — besides the fact that I directly addressed why I didn’t eat the meal in the ‘Call Her Daddy’ episode – [is] why are we trying to pit women against women? Why are we doing that? That seems dumb and counterproductive,” she explained. “Anyone that asks me in person, I am very forthcoming with how much I love and appreciate [Taylor] and how much I love the fact that you can tell how happy Travis is and that’s what I care about so let’s not pit women against women.”
In regards to her private dinner date, Kylie explained that an “outstanding chef” was in fact responsible for preparing the meal.
As for why she couldn’t eat it, it’s safe to blame it on pregnancy hormones.
“The home-cooked meals that I did not get to enjoy were not because I refused to eat them, but because the child in my womb overwhelmed me with hormones that suggested if I consume anything other than crackers, that it might be seen again if you catch my drift,” she said. “Anyone who has experienced pregnancy nausea knows that it’s not a choice. At eight weeks, that’s not a choice.”

There was one food item that Kylie was able to enjoy during the double date weekend.
“I did get a chance to try, I believe they were confetti, like, Funfetti pancakes,” Kylie shared. “Regardless, they hit. They were so good. Baby liked them, I loved them. They were very, very good.”
