Attorney General Pam Bondi swore in Kash Patel as the nation’s ninth FBI director Friday, and he delivered a short but passionate speech following the ceremony. The new director took to the podium and before he could even get started speaking, he received a rousing ovation from the assembled guests. “Wow wow wow,” he said.
He first thanked the “courageous warrior” Trump and “General Bondi” – “that sounds pretty freaking cool,” he joked:

He then moved on to slamming the biased media for the smears they have relentlessly been throwing at him. “Bring it on,” he challenged:

That can’t happen anywhere else. To the senators and the men and women of the United States House of Representatives, you placed an enormous trust in me, an enormous leap of faith—one that I didn’t know that I could possibly earn back, but I’m gonna spend every single day on this job doing so. The fact that you placed the confidence you did in me has inspired me to reach new heights at this job.
Despite the hate from the press and folks like the odious Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Patel is an American success story. If he is able to root out the rot at the FBI like he says he will, then he will be doing a service to all Americans.
