Kamala’s Campaign Is Flailing So Badly the DOJ Just Tried to Toss Her a ‘Russia Collusion’ Lifeline

The Department of Justice on Wednesday announced criminal charges against two Russian nationals, sweeping sanctions, and the seizure of dozens of web domains with the intent to, as CNN reports, “tackle Russian efforts to influence (the) 2024 election.”

The announcement was first published as an exclusive report from the pro-DNC outlet.

To paraphrase Barack Obama – the 2016 election called, it wants its fake Russia meddling hoax back.

Russian Shenanigans! Biden Admin to Accuse Russians of Election Interference AGAIN

Merrick Garland Delivers Ominous Remarks on Election Interference

The DOJ announced these actions 62 days out from the presidential election, a number which should not go unnoticed since the department has a longstanding policy to avoid announcing any investigative steps within 60 days of an election.

The first question that arises is: How bad are Kamala Harris’s internal polling numbers that they have to dust off the Russia boogeyman to try and sway an election?

Attorney General Merrick Garland accused various Russian public relations companies of attempting “to promote disinformation and state-sponsored narratives as part of a campaign to influence the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.”

Details on what constitutes disinformation are scant in the press release. Exhibits posted by the Department do reveal some of what they are alluding to, however.

For instance, they cite something called the ‘Good Old USA Project’ as trying to promote such narratives as the United States “has been doing way too much to support Ukraine.”

Which, by any measure, is objectively true.

Another objective highlighted in the exhibits notes that financial support for Ukraine comes as Americans are “suffering from rising prices, primarily for gasoline, historically high inflation, and the actual impoverishment of … a significant part of the middle class”.

Also, true.

The irony here is that the Biden-Harris DOJ is suggesting Russia is engaged in an effort to sow doubts regarding news people find on the internet (under the broad, undefinable label of “disinformation”), which, in itself, is a means to sow doubt.

The DOJ, in 2018, while announcing similar actions against Russia, admitted, “There is no allegation … of any effect on the outcome of the election.”

This time, though, the Russia meddling is real, they insist, and it is spectacular. At least, that’s what Garland needs the public to believe.

He accused President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle of engaging in “a covert campaign to interfere in and influence the outcome of our country’s elections.”

Weird, isn’t it, that Russia gets the media coverage. And Russia gets the focus from the Harris administration (let’s face it, she’s running the country right now).

The United States government announced last month that Iran was behind a hack and leak operation of the Trump campaign. They also allegedly tried to hack the Biden-Harris campaign but conveniently failed.

The hacking was, according to the FBI, “intended to influence the U.S. election process.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the federal government has also seen evidence of Chinese attempts to “influence and arguably interfere” with the upcoming election.

There were no big announcements of sweeping action against Iran or China for meddling in the election. No arrests. No domain seizures from those nations.

And there were no exclusive reports to great fanfare from far-left media mouthpieces.

Instead, the administration has promised they are “keeping a close eye on China.”

Disinformation from China and Iran is apparently okay. Russia? Not so much.

The DOJ wants voters to believe Russia is spreading disinformation, and Russia wants Trump to win. And, as a good red-blooded American, you must vote for Harris instead.

Putin, however, has said he’d prefer to see Biden defeat Trump. And that likely extends to Harris now as well, considering she would represent a de facto second term for him.

All of this spells absolute doom for Kamala’s campaign. She has no original policies to speak of, no platform posted for the American people to read. She just has the same tired “disinformation” and ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ shtick we all saw play out in 2016 and 2020.

It sounds like a desperate last-gasp effort by the Harris campaign after realizing she earned a negligible post-DNC bump in national polling and hasn’t even moved the meter in battleground states.

The American people are too intelligent to fall for this nonsense. The Russia meddling narrative is dead.
