Justin Gay, Principal of Ray White Goulburn, has opened his second office in his hometown of Crookwell.

The Announcement:

Justin Gay, Principal of Ray White Goulburn, has announced the opening of his second office, Ray White Rural Crookwell, marking a significant milestone in his real estate career.

Returning to his roots in Crookwell, where he was born and raised, Mr Gay brings over two decades of experience in the industry and a deep-seated commitment to his community.

“I did work experience at Ray White Goulburn in 1999 when I was 14,” Mr Gay said.

“Despite pursuing other paths briefly, real estate has always been in my heart. It feels like coming full circle to establish our presence here.”

Mr Gay came from humble beginnings, raised by his grandparents in Crookwell and mowing lawns for neighbours to earn some pocket money.

“I never lost my connection to Crookwell, and my heart and soul will always be with this town and the people in it,” he said.

“We recently bought a farm in Crookwell which was always a dream of mine.”

His journey in real estate began early, working weekends while still in school and eventually acquiring Ray White Goulburn in 2015.

“It’s been almost 10 years of hard work and dedication,” Mr Gay said.

“I always dreamt of returning to Crookwell. Now, with the support of Ray White Rural Corporate and the local community, that dream has become a reality.”

Crookwell, renowned for its rich basalt farmland and picturesque garden landscapes, holds a special place in Mr Gay’s heart.

“It’s potato country, with a vibrant mix of farming and a close-knit community of 3,000 residents,” he said.

“We’ve seen an influx of investment from Sydney over the last 20 years, but it’s still maintained its small-town charm.

“It is a green and beautiful place, with the most magic trees in autumn and we even get snow in winter.

“It is truly the best community; super tight-knit and everyone has each other’s support here.”

Reflecting on his decision to expand with Ray White, Mr Gay emphasised the importance of family and community.

“Ray White Rural has provided a network of other business leaders who feel like family,” he said.

“It’s not just about business; it’s about honouring the people who’ve supported me and giving back to a community that means so much.”

The expansion to Crookwell comes at a pivotal time for Mr Gay alongside his wife Loren and three children.

“Recently turning 40, it felt like the right moment to return to where it all began,” he said.

“With our new office, we aim to continue Ray White’s legacy of excellence while embracing the unique opportunities Crookwell offers.”

Ray White Goulburn, under Mr Gay’s leadership, has grown to a team of 23 since its inception, embodying a commitment to professionalism and community spirit.

“We’re excited to bring our expertise to Crookwell and contribute to its thriving real estate market,” he said.

“It’s an honour to serve as a custodian of the Ray White brand and to continue building on our legacy in this beautiful region.”

Ray White Rural CEO Stephen Nell said that Justin Gay is an exemplary principal in the network and is loved and respected by his peers.

“I have no doubt that Justin and the team will continue to provide a full professional service to the Crookwell community, with the backing of Australasia’s largest real estate group,” Mr Nell said.
