Josh Allen immediately celebrated winning the Most Valuable Player at the 2025 NFL Honors with a sweet kiss from his fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld.
Allen and Steinfeld, both 28, shared a romantic embrace after it was announced on Thursday, February 6, that the Buffalo Bills quarterback took home the trophy for MVP.
As Allen took the stage in New Orleans’ Saenger Theater, he gave shout-outs to God, his Bills teammates and coaches, as well as his parents and siblings for being “so dedicated to supporting me.”
“And last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee,” Allen concluded. “You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend [and] I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless and Go Bills.”
As the camera panned to Steinfeld, she clapped her hands in front of her face while her mouth turned up into a closed-lip smile with tears welling in her eyes.

Allen and Steinfeld’s night at the annual NFL Honors ceremony also served as their official red carpet debut. Before heading inside the venue, they posed on the red carpet. While Allen looked dapper in a classic black suit, the actress opted for a coordinating strapless column dress accessorized with a diamond necklace and her engagement ring.
The pair got engaged in November 2024 during the Bills’ bye week.
“I was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen told Steinfeld in a December 2024 issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

Allen popped the question at sunset while standing underneath a rose-covered archway overlooking a waterfront.
“I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you,’” Allen recalled. “I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.”
Allen and the Hawkeye alum have been together since 2023, making their official Instagram debut one year later. Steinfeld has also since enjoyed supporting Allen on the football gridiron, even when his season ended last month with a defeat at the AFC conference championship. (The Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, who are moving onto this weekend’s Super Bowl LIX opposite the Philadelphia Eagles.)
“To say the least, I am so proud of that man and everything he’s done and everything that team has done together,” Steinfeld told E! News on January 28. “He is the hardest working person I know.”
