The media hype campaign of Kamala Harris continues apace.
She went from being incredibly unpopular to supposedly being “exciting” after being announced as the candidate after the coup against Joe Biden. She was still below 40 percent, as we were being asked to think that everyone was jumping on board to support her.

This was with no announced policies on her website and no interviews, or even answering any questions from reporters. Sorry, but I’m not buying it.
What we’re seeing is an effort to astroturf popularity while skipping over the fact that she’s part of the administration that has delivered all the bad policies, chaos in the world, and crushing inflation. She can promise anything for the future, but she’s failed just like Joe Biden has for all this time that she’s occupied the office.
While Kamala has been employing the “basement strategy” and avoiding even friendly media, former President Donald Trump and JD Vance haven’t been shy about going anywhere to talk to anyone, even unfriendly media, like at the NABJ event that Trump went to.

As it turned out, on Wednesday, both JD Vance and Kamala Harris were arriving at the airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Once again, Harris needed help to buff out her crowd by having a popular musician at her event, Bon Iver.
But when Vance arrived, he skewered Harris’ effort to avoid reporters but good. He walked over to where Air Force Two was and delivered a great shot.

“… hopefully it’s going to be my plane in a few months. I also thought you guys may get lonely, bc the VP doesn’t answer q’s from reporters…”

Vance joked, “It’s going to be my plane in a few months.”
Then he said, “I also thought you guys may get lonely” because Kamala Harris “doesn’t answer questions from reporters and hasn’t in 17 days.” He asked them if the Harris team had given them any explanation for her avoiding the media. He said he thought it would be good if she took questions rather than running a campaign from a basement and with a teleprompter. Then he smiled and thanked them.
His tactic worked. One reporter asked what he wanted to hear from Harris. Vance responded he wanted to hear what she wanted to do in the office and why her positions have all flip-flopped. He said she pretended to be a tough-on-crime prosecutor but then was for defunding the police and opening the border.
Vance finished by saying it was “disgraceful” how she was blowing them off, as Harris was avoiding the media with her motorcade pulling away behind Vance.
Now, that’s the way to do it; that’s a mic drop delivery, exposing her failure to respond to even basic questions while seeking the highest job in the land. He’s also exposing the media’s lackadaisical attitude to holding her to account on the issue, as her campaign lies their heads off in the process, knowing that the liberal media likely won’t check them.
People loved it.
