Jamie-Lynn Sigler is testing the waters — or rather, milk — of a new diet.

“You guys should hear what I’m doing right now, you’re going to think I’m crazy,” Sigler, 43, began during the Thursday, October 10, episode of her and former Sopranos costar Robert Iler’s “Not Today, Pal” podcast. “It’s shocking because I too love food, I too love sweets. I’m in the middle of something called the milk cleanse. All I’ve been drinking for days is whole milk and that’s it.”

Sigler held up her hydro flask during the episode, proclaiming, “This is milk.” She twisted off the lid to show the contents to Iler and guest Mike Cannon before taking a swig from the container.

“The idea behind it is parasites love dairy. I’ve had so many gut issues, I’ve tried so many different things to fix it,” Sigler noted. “I’ve known enough people that have done this that say it’s really good.”

Sigler explained that the diet consists of only drinking milk for eight days. “And then you take these pills, and so the idea is that all these parasites that are hiding in your body, they’re all coming out because all they’re getting is dairy. And then I’m taking these supplements,” she said.

Sigler joked that it’s “crazy” she hasn’t gotten up “three times” during the podcast recording to use the bathroom. “It’s just cleaning you out,” she noted.

Sigler said that she began the diet the day before the podcast recording, and “didn’t poop at all.” She added, “So I’m like, ‘What’s wrong?’ Today it’s kicked in. But I’m not hungry.”

After she completes the diet, Sigler noted that she is not supposed to have dairy “for, like, a while and then reintroduce it.” Sigler added that she is allowed to have a cup of coffee with milk and a teaspoon of honey in the mornings during her cleanse. “I wake up and I’m like, ‘Ah! Give it to me,’” Sigler joked.

Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/MEGA The Sopranos alum Jamie-Lynn Sigler first opened up about her multiple sclerosis battle in 2016, nearly 15 years after she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease at age 20. “I already had a big career. It was difficult to accept,” Sigler said while sharing the health update during an October 2016 […]

Sigler noted that she “had a headache” when she woke up in the morning, but it was gone by the time they recorded the podcast. However, she hadn’t noticed many other changes at the time.

Cutter [Dykstra] came up to me today and he’s like, ‘Your skin!’ I was like, ‘Already?’” she said of her husband, whom she wed in 2016.

Sigler has been open about her health battles through the years. In 2016, Sigler revealed she had multiple sclerosis nearly 15 years after initially being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease at age 20. “I already had a big career. It was difficult to accept,” Sigler said during an appearance on Fox News.

Before Sigler and Christina Applegate launched their “MesSy” podcast earlier this year, where the duo discuss the ups and downs of living with MS, the Sopranos alum began hosting the “Not Today, Pal” podcast with Iler.

“It’s a 30-minute moment of just fun and silliness and him making me uncomfortable and me reacting. People write in and we give our quote ‘sweet and sour’ advice – he’s the sour, I’m the sweet, but we also get personal about what we’re dealing with in our life,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2023. “He’s a recovering addict. I obviously live with MS, so it’s an opportunity for people to get to know another side of us, to see our relationship and hopefully to make people laugh.”
