Hurts’ three-touchdown game marks the third time that a quarterback has run for three scores in a playoff game and the Eagles’ quarterback has accounted for two of those. Hurts accomplished the feat in Super Bowl LVII in 2023 and Otto Graham did it in the 1954 NFL championship.
This postseason, Hurts has four rushing touchdowns as the team is looking to reach its second Super Bowl in three years. He had five rushing touchdowns in the 2022 playoffs as the Eagles reached the Super Bowl before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Later tonight, Hurts may have some company at the top of this leaderboard. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is sitting at seven rushing TDs and will play the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, which starts at 6:30 p.m. ET. Allen had two rushing touchdowns in Buffalo’s AFC divisional round win against the Baltimore Ravens.
