People can say what they want about Donald Trump, but one thing that is undeniable about him is that he is an absolute showman who knows how to turn just about any situation into something that is a net positive for him and devastatingly embarrassing to his political opponents.

We saw it, for instance, with the GOP presidential nominee’s recent visit to the McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, where his shift at the fry station and drive-thru spotlighted not just how he was clearly enjoying the moment but also Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ unverified story of once working for a McDonald’s in the 1980s.

And on Wednesday, the former president did it yet again, hitching a ride on a garbage truck during a campaign visit to the battleground state of Wisconsin:

“250 million people — that’s what I think the real number is for making America great again. 250 million. The real number. They don’t think you’re terms of garbage, okay? They don’t use terms like that and it’s a shame. And Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself if he knows what he’s even doing and she should be ashamed because she shouldn’t let him do it. She’s the vice president, but I assume she’s acting as the president. She should never have let that happen. I hope you enjoyed this garbage truck. Thank you very much, everyone!”

The photos, too, were pretty incredible:

I.. I just don’t know what to say. The imagery just speaks for itself. We will be talking about garbage for another week thanks not just to Joe Biden’s patented ability to open mouth and insert foot, but also because Trump knew exactly how to capitalize on it for maximum impact. He is truly one of a kind.
